These terms apply when you use takecourt.com, its free tools, the private beta waitlist, or a TakeCourt beta. By using those services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Development and beta status
TakeCourt is in development. Features may change, fail, reset, or be removed. A waitlist submission does not guarantee an invitation or a specific launch date. Beta access may be limited, paused, or withdrawn at any time.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Attack, disrupt, overload, scrape, or attempt to bypass security controls.
- Exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage or interfere with other users.
- Use automated systems to submit forms, create accounts, or copy substantial site content.
- Use TakeCourt for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Accounts and beta data
If you receive beta access, you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials secure. Beta saves, rosters, virtual items, and progress have no cash value and may be reset during development.
Intellectual property
TakeCourt's software, original teams, artwork, interface, writing, and branding belong to TakeCourt or its licensors. You may use the website and tools for personal use, but you may not copy, resell, or distribute them except where the law permits.
TakeCourt is an independent, unlicensed basketball simulation. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NBA, NBPA, or any NBA team or player. “NBA” is used on marketing pages only to describe the category and style of basketball management simulation.
Feedback
If you submit ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to improve TakeCourt. You keep ownership of any original material you submit.
Disclaimers and liability
The services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, preservation of beta data, or a particular launch date. To the extent permitted by law, TakeCourt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the services.
Changes
We may update these terms as TakeCourt develops. The updated date above will change when material revisions are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
